The first gift I remember receiving was a book. I spent most of my formative years holed up in the library, immersed in the wonderful fantasy worlds created by my favourite authors. 

Writing has given an avenue to express myself, and has also opened my horizons to ask the question, "So what?" 

I'm always on the lookout for a new opportunity that will open my eyes to new experiences, sights and opinions.
